Product Description:
A breakthrough in sound control technology, Acousti‑Mat® II is the cost-effective solution to "noise" complaints, even with ceramic and wood floors. Its core of fused entangle filaments, attached to a non-woven fabric, creates a void area between the subfloor and a high-strength Maxxon® underlayment.
The low 1/4" profile of Acousti-Mat II allows a thinner floating floor composite and is a cost-effective choice for both new floors and retrofit where floor height is a concern. It increases IIC and STC levels up to 10 points over wood frame, and IIC up to 20 points over concrete.
New Acousti-Mat II "Green" is available with 40% pre-consumer recycled content and optional water resistant fabric.
